I called Nicole and asked for a special arrangement for my pastor's wife. I described to her in general terms the type of arrangement that I needed. I was operating on a limited budget. I asked my husband to pick up the floral arrangement for me since I was unable to stop at the shop before it closed that day. When I got home and saw the arrangement I was almost speechless. Nicole had put together the most beautiful arrangement that I had ever seen. M y pastor's wife was also very pleased and sent me pictures of this most beautiful floral arrangement on her dinning room table. Thank you Nicole. Thank you City Florist of Clayton for making me and my pastor's wife so very pleased with your beautiful work.

I had a family member recommended this florist to a friend out of state who requested to send flowers to my daughter who had just seen her boyfriend off on deployment. (as we had used this florist several times in the past) My friend called this florist requesting that flowers be sent to my daughter that afternoon. She had also expressed how wonderful the lady she had spoken to was to deal with, however, We were unaware until the next morning that the flowers had been delivered. The flowers were found on the front porch, they had fallen over, and due to cold weather and sleet, were frozen to the front porch. We were also advised that there were at least 2 phone numbers given to the florist in the event that they needed to call someone in the home. My daughter, and my friend called this florist requesting return calls. No calls were returned. When my friend finally did speak to someone, she was told the flowers were handed to someone at the home. (even though no one was there at the time) She was also told by the florist that new flowers would be delivered, however they would be wrapped flowers and not in a vase. Again, the flowers were left at the front door, my daughter happen to be home, no one knocked on the door or anything, they were just left on the front porch. I HAD used this florist on several occasions, for many years. It saddens me that the reputation the previous owner had developed for this florist has been so badly damaged, as I KNOW HE would have made it right for the families involved. Its sad to know you pay for a nice arrangement, and cant enjoy it. And the second arrangement was not as great, as should have been for the price. Its sad to me what a simple phone call from someone could have accomplished.
